We're there when you handover your Beijing home back to the landlord. Just tell us what time you'd like to start. Here's what we'll be doing:
Inventory
- Together with the landlord, with the Handover List you used when you moved in, we do an inventory check of all keys, furniture, appliances, remote controls, instruction manuals, access passwords and smart cards.
- Any existing remaining damages (wear and tear excepted) are noted here. When done, both you and the landlord sign two copies of the Handover List, one for each.
Utilities
Current meter readings are noted in the Handover List. Outstanding bills are paid and for pre-paid utilities differences are settled with the landlord.
Telephone and internet
Transfer subscription to landlord or cancel them.
How long will it take?
The handover takes about 2 hours at an apartment and about 4 hours at a house.
Security Desposit
After the handover has been been complete and all outstanding bills have been paid, the landlord will return the security deposit to you, or to your company if it's a corporate lease
